Elie – Project Director – was born in Kimisagara, Kigali and started attending the Sunday School of the Inkuru Nziza church. In the early 1990s Elie, as well as being one of the church leaders, was also a driver for the government electricity company but was keen to serve the Lord in a full-time capacity. That opportunity came with the start of the orphans project which he has led ever since. |
Suzanne – Assistant Director – was widowed during the genocide of 1994 and was received into the project in the following months. Initially responsible for the area of Gatsata where she lives with her children, Suzanne now has many responsibilities especially for the social workers and education of the children. |
Elijah – Administrator – returned to Rwanda from Uganda after the genocide and has fitted into the team having responsibility for the sponsorship and orphans accounts. As a fluent English speaker Elijah translates reports and letters. |
